"The time has come. 2 years ago when I bought my house, I went through Brice. While one of the staff made a major mistake which cost me thousands, I will not name them, because it was a mistake I believe. The real problem was how it was handled by Brice. They provided proof to my mortgage company that I had homeowners insurance. 2 months after we settled and moved in, I got notice from my insurance that I had no policy. It never existed. I now had to pay exorbitant costs since now I hadn’t been covered for months. I also had to wait 30 days to even qualify to get coverage, during hurricane season!! When I finally got a new policy (not with Brice Brown agency of course), it was now thousands over my original coverage, since now it was during hurricane season. Every year now I have to renew in hurricane season. But like I said, it was Brice that was the problem. I asked him to reimburse me the extra money it cost me from his mistake. Not ongoing, but for that one time. That is after all why they have errors and omissions insurance. Not only did he not respond, but when I tried to switch to another state farm agent, because who wants to work with a guy like this, the other agent was in cahoots with him and said he spoke to Brice about this situation and he didn’t want to take his client since Brice said he would make it good. He never did! I even reached out to the insurance agents board to have them look into this. Still waiting! Why am I telling this now? Because I finally got my car insurance out of his office to someone else. It seems his recent reviews are not great lately. If I were you, find another agent. And one that is not connected with him in anyway."

"I generally do not write negative reviews but my experience with this particular office was absolutely terrible . They hold a very important policy for me and their customer service is horrible . They are so unprofessional and rude that I am literally switching over my policy to another State Farm office . Never have I ever had to deal with such unprofessional employees that do not care about their clients . Two stars is my generosity because they do not deserve not even 1. Find another agent this office sucks !!!"

"Raised my rates, then raised my rates, then raised my rates again. Good credit zero accidents no reasons to be slamming me. State Farm isn’t what it was. Switched to progressive same coverage instantly saved 100s."

"The WORST insurance company. Incompetent, RUDE, unhelpful and arrogant. They don’t help you to find the best policy they use Florida busy growth as an excuse to increase yearly. Progressive is the best! Never use this location they all suck at the office and entitled tone on the phone. Awful awful customer service! I will let my clients knows never to use you."

"Been with this insurance company for over 16 years they took such good care of me after having hit my car in a garage my head was pretty banged up. One phone call and they got the ball rolling they sent the check directly to where my car was being held for repair came in a few days to get the quote from diagnostics and issued out a check within four days. This is the best insurance company ever I don’t trust any other."

"Worst insurance provider ever! Terrible service confrontational doesn't return calls . I'm not sure if they have a fax machine if they do they don't how to use it. It took them 11 months to change the name of my loan holder increased my insurance 2 in 2 weeks for the same reason and refused to fax anything to my new loan holder and new insurance company. I had to drive from Miami to Fort Lauderdale just to get what I needed and they were still confrontational I told them I was going to call the police. I was still there over an hour and had to take my 89 y/o mother with me because she was the policy holder. If you are with them RUN ."

"Terrible service. Kind when you’re buying a policy but when the time comes to cancel a policy (kept increasing the premium at every renewal date…) they will endlessly drag their feet… Don’t waste your time coming to the office in person, no one will greet you and the employees will pretend they don’t see you."

"I have 29 collector cars insured in Indiana with State Farm, no accidents no claims. Our other home is in Florida and Florida requires all insurance written by Florida agents if the vehicle is registered in Florida. I called Brice Brown insurance a week ago and spoke with Brandon to get State Farm insurance from his State Farm Florida location. I explained I needed to get Florida insurance asap from an agent located in Florida, which they are. Brandon told me he would call me back, never did, and I called for him 6 times, never called me back so I went to State Farm in Osprey, and in 1/2 hour they took care of me and printed an insurance card. Brice Brown is a poor insurance company and should be avoided. Worst customer service I’ve had in years!!! I’m also calling State Farm headquarters and reporting them. They don’t deserve to represent State Farm."

"DO NOT BRING YOUR SERVICE HERE. I repeat, do not bring your service here!! The staff besides Leah, have no idea what is going on. It appears that they have not properly been trained on how to perform the job. You need to tell them to do things multiple times, and actually complain or get upset, for them to take you seriously. Asked them to make changes that they say will be made, to then have to call multiple times again, for them to finally make changes, that the representative then states, won’t be reflected for 30-45 days. State Farm is great, but this office is not. Please save yourself a headache and choose another local office. And notice how many other reviews tell similar experiences."

"Incompetent, borderline illegal agency. Worked in insurance for years, this is the worst agency I’ve ever seen. Does not change coverage when requested the 30th time. Does not remove vehicles ever. Will charge you for things you did not ask for, and have requested to have removed. A disgrace to the State Farm name."

"Long story short: rude, unprofessional, untrained staff and secretaries. Long version: I’ve been using State Farm a long time, and I’ve always preferred to handle my business in person. I recently moved from Miami to Ft. Lauderdale and the drive to my old agency was getting a bit tiresome so I asked some colleagues of mine for a recommendation since there are so many around the area. I had two people mention Brice Brown’s office so I saw it as a good sign. I walked into the office as I was told I’d be able to do. The outside of the office itself was a bit rinky dink but I didn’t want to be judgmental so I walked in. When you walk in, nobody greets you or even looks at you. I started getting social anxiety just standing there so I turned to the girl to my left, assuming she was the secretary or something. She didn’t say anything or look at me so I finally just said Hello, how are you? And she looked up at me with the most annoyed and menacing glare. She was a light skin or tan Hispanic girl with dark hair. I asked her who I could talk to about opening an account. She practically rolled her eyes and then told me to wait. I saw her walk up to some of her co workers and start giggling and laughing. I’m not sure if she was chit chatting or flirting or having a bad day, but I felt so awkward standing there I just walked right out. No one came after me or anything. A week goes by so I decided I should just call this time. It was picked up quickly but then no one answered. Again, I made the first move and said Hello? It was a woman’s voice, she said “Hey.” Like it was a call from her girl friend asking to go to the mall. I asked “is this State Farm?” She said “yeah…”. I could feel my face getting hot because somehow she was making me feel stupid or embarrassed for calling a business? I told her I was switching agencies and then she didn’t reply. I asked her if she could forward me to someone I could speak to and she said all of the agents were busy. I didn’t want to hold so I decided I would just hang up, but I asked her name right before. It was Elena or Nina or Lena or Lina. I wouldn’t be able to tell you because she mumbled it even though I asked her to repeat herself so I could write this review. Sorry to her if she was just having an off day, but who answers the phone to an office like that? I guess I’ll never know if Brice Brown’s office lives up to the hype because I’m going to try my luck at Steve Botkin next."
